I have the example of shredded or deformed pistol bullets, fired against the rock, see photos here ... Another good example: the meteorite that I found in Oklahoma and which appears in the form of more or less remelted debris ; this meteorite was too big and fell almost perpendicularly on the mountain of wichita.
I found a remnant of black fusion crust under my possible meteorite, towards the rear of the likely impact. Fusion crusts are often found under meteorites, if the fall is recent.

In fact, it is from october 2021 that my discovery date, it is not earlier than in my memories ... It's the legend, when you find a treasure, there is a trap when you go to take it! ... What is difficult with pseudo-meteorites is that they are either terrestrial or extraterrestrial . Observations on this volcanic rock: the rock has pyroxenes (green and white).

Cracks (1) are due to a shock and materials will pick up the pieces, for meteorites but often it's almost impossible to tell the difference between the two because the rock is in bad condition. A crack will look like a broken windshield (glass) while the vein will look more like the rounded relief of a stream in a river ...
Park in Arizona, the vein structures of the mountains is straight:
Melted parts seen under a microscope (top right part). We don't see some cracks on this picture, it's not a meteorite. The age of this granite from the black mountain near Henderson is around 15,9 millions years: middle miocene!
